The Challenge

Required a bespoke sports-content delivery platform for Sub-Saharan Africa where off-the-shelf OTT solutions could not handle the unique network conditions, encoder requirements, and scale of 3 million homes.

Our Approach

Designed a ground-up streaming architecture including custom encode and decode hardware optimised for variable-bandwidth last-mile networks. Selected and managed vendors in China for hardware manufacturing and integration. Deployed SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) protocol for resilient delivery over unreliable networks. Built pilot infrastructure and conducted live trials before full rollout.
