We’ve been quiet on the writing side. That changes today.
Over the last two years we’ve watched organisations swing between two extremes when it comes to AI: cautious pilots that never leave the lab, and breathless rollouts that crash into the realities of governance, identity, and integration. The pattern is consistent enough that we want to write about it openly — what works, what doesn’t, and why.
What you’ll find here
This journal will cover three threads, each tied to the work we actually do:
- AI in the workplace — practical patterns for moving from demo to deployment, with honest notes on where things break.
- Fractional leadership — what changes when a CTO, CIO, or CISO is shared across boards, and how to get value from a fraction of the time.
- Technical infrastructure — the unglamorous foundations (identity, networking, data) that decide whether the AI layer actually delivers.
How often
Roughly twice a month. We’d rather publish less and be useful than chase a frequency target. If a piece needs more reps in the field before it’s worth your time, we’ll hold it.
What this isn’t
It isn’t a feed of vendor announcements or hot takes. We won’t write about a tool we haven’t used in production with a client, and we won’t make predictions we can’t back with experience.
If a topic would help you, drop us a note — the best posts here will be the ones you asked for.
